awhile ago box brown did some little paintings and i thought they were cool and i was going to do some and i did. but then i forgot about it until i found them last night. so here they are.
anyway, i'm selling these for 10 dollars each. they are 4 inches by 4 inches each, done with watercolor and ink on bristol board. if people like them and buy them i'll do some more. |

i'm not sure why i've been doing these redrawn pages. just to try and understand how other creators work i guess. anyway this page was taken from complete lowlife, which is a really great read about a slacker guy who doesn't do much, and sometimes breaks the law.

this might be the first page for the story i am doing right now, but i'm not really sure. it is taking me along time because the first part of the story all takes place by the same brick building, and it is boring the shit out of me to draw the stupid bricks over and over again. |

i've been reading the early fantastic four comics. they are very nice. i like the crazy logic of the story and the weird super science that mr fantastic uses. i've know who the king of comics is for a long time, but i haven't really been that in to his art. but now the more i see the more and more i'm loving it! |

| new scanner |

got a new scanner today. i scanned this page from the story i am working on now. i messed around with the photo software it came with but i didn't really know what i was doing. this scanner doesn't make a slightly grey color on the picture or have a line down the center so i'm sold. |

i was going to post an entry showing a few pages of the story i'm working on now, but i can't get the scanner to work. i've been wanting to get a new scanner and printer for awhile now and maybe now this will force me to get one of those all in ones'?
when i get my income tax money i will be publishing original fish number one, so get some cash together. i've got all the stories written and thumbed for the next issue and right now i'm drawing them, so the next one way be out as early as next month, but i'm not making any promises. |

here is the comic i did for today. i like doing the stick figure comics, but that isn't the way i normally draw, so maybe i shouldn't be drawing like that? i did about 98% of this page in straight pen. i am very very very anal and obessive about the way my pages look, so i'm doing all the daily's in straight pens. i'm hoping that this will force me to improve my line work, which will only make my pencils that much stronger. |

andrea got me marvel zombies a few days ago and i thought it was really good. i went ahead and drew this since i figured it was only a matter of time before i would have anyway. i'm enjoying doing these spiderman drawing and might move on to other characters. any requests?
